I realize we all have thought about what was going on on the day we were born. Let's take it a step further. Taking for granted you were born "full-term", what was going on the day your mother and father sacked up and conceived you. In my case nothing much happened except we were in this little skirmish called WWII and we sunk a Japanese U-Boat off the coast of Brazil. I don't think that caused mom and dad to get romantic that night so it had to be something else.
The ironical part of this is, when you get a little full of yourself, thinking how important things are in your life, etc., keep in mind that if your dad had said something shitty to your mom, a friend decided to drop in for the weekend, unexpectedly, your mom burned the beans and had a really bad attitude that night, and the possibilities are endless, you wouldn't even be here.
Any thoughts on this, or am I just suffering from the Lovelady Blues, since, again, nothing happened today!

Oh Oh Oh...I know the answer to this one!!!
I was conceived just after midnight in the wee early hours of November 23rd 1963...My Mom needed some comforting after the sad day that JFK got shot and killed (by a bullet that magically bounced around in a car and hit no one but him entering and leaving his body at different angles) So my Dad (the awesome man he was) held her close and loved the pain away.
It was one of the worse days, but a little ray of sunshine came from it...ME

So your saying that John F. Kennedy, whose wife was fucking around with the Greek Boat Dude, and he was fucking Marilyn, our cherished boy from Texas, Lyndon B. circling like a vulture waiting on the kill, gave his life so your sorry ass could be born?
Shame on you!

Well, all of this is well and fine. The question is, what could possibly been in the minds of Py's parents when they did the evil deed?
There is no reasoning at all for this.

The real contributing factor must be what events occured in the time your mother was carrying you. I'm sure the Cuban missile crisis must have caused a bit of anxiety while I was a joey in the pouch.
Would be an interesting survey to conduct on recent borns with the world trade bombings 6 months in the past. There has to be some lingering effect from that on the future development of these children.
edit...I've got to start using speel chekcer

Well, obviously, no one wants to think about their mom and dad fucking. That is normal. It is, a, pretty much, downer visual to me, too.
Since mine have been dead for, like, forever, I am over it. You guys have to look at yours, either on a daily basis or, at least, at Thanksgiving, etc. Just let this piece go to the basement. The reason for the thread was to make yo think about your situation and not take it too seriously, OK?

Nine months before i popped out (actually was cut out) was the largest 'Oktoberfest' celebration outside of Germany, in the city where my rents were living.
So i am figuring my mom was drunk enough to let my ugly ass father prod her, and BAM - ME!
No glamour, now world event, just beer, and lots of it!
